Scope of Services
I understand that hypnosis services are provided for avocational or vocational self-improvement, which may include personal development, relaxation, mindset and habit support, confidence, motivation, spiritual exploration, and related self-improvement purposes.
I understand that the practitioner is not acting as a physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, or other licensed healthcare or mental-health professional, and that hypnosis services are not psychotherapy, psychological or medical treatment, or diagnosis or treatment of any medical or mental-health condition.
Hypnosis is not a substitute for care from an appropriately licensed professional. If a concern is outside the appropriate scope of these services, the practitioner may decline, modify, postpone, or discontinue a session and may recommend that I seek assistance from a qualified licensed professional.
Hypnosis & Memory
I understand that hypnosis may involve focused attention, relaxation, imagination, suggestion, guided visualization, memories, emotions, imagery, impressions, physical sensations, or other subjective experiences.
Information experienced or recalled during hypnosis is not necessarily an objectively accurate or historically reliable memory. Memory may be influenced by imagination, suggestion, expectations, interpretation, and prior experiences.
I agree not to rely solely upon information arising during hypnosis when making decisions involving medical treatment, legal matters, accusations against another person, or other significant life consequences without appropriate independent verification.
Past-Life Regression & Spiritual Exploration
If I participate in past-life regression or another spiritually oriented hypnosis session, I understand that the experience is offered for personal and spiritual exploration.
Experiences may involve imagination, symbolism, metaphor, subconscious material, memories, personal beliefs, or spiritual interpretations. The practitioner does not represent or guarantee that any perceived past life, spiritual experience, memory, image, message, or other information is historically factual, objectively verifiable, or proof of a spiritual or supernatural phenomenon.
I am free to interpret my experience according to my own personal or spiritual beliefs.
Voluntary Participation
I understand that hypnosis may bring up unexpected thoughts, memories, imagery, sensations, or emotions. My participation is voluntary, and I may decline any technique, suggestion, question, or exercise, or pause or end the session at any time.
Individual responses to hypnosis vary, and no particular outcome or result is promised or guaranteed.
